11 top tips for your email Newsletter

Here are my top tips to make sure your Newsletter makes the impact it deserves!

  1. Know who you are writing to? Are they existing customers or new ones or both?
  2. Make it consistent in the look, design and the frequency that you send it out
  3. Always test before sending
  4. Give it an intriguing subject line, but avoiding spam words
  5. Always follow-up with anyone who opened it/clicked through
  6. Spell check!
  7. Include images and links
  8. Don’t make it all about yourself e.g include company or personal news but also include industry info, law changes, important UK updates etc etc
  9. Outsource the writing if copy writing isn’t your strong point
  10. Always include an unsubscribe option
  11. Always adhere to the Data Protection act rules
