Why should your business embrace Christmas, but no need for mistletoe!

There is no need to buy mistletoe, but with Christmas only 4 weeks away there are many reasons why and how your business should get into the festive spirit. Regardless of whether you sell festive related products or services, follow our top tips on maximising on Christmas.

Marketing your way through the festive season

Happy Christmas

Customers. When was the last time you saw your key customers face to face? Why not pop round to see them or make an appointment to say hi and use the excuse of taking a Christmas card or a gift like a tin of biscuits or box of chocolates. Talking of cards and gifts, why not spend a little of branded and personalised cards or gifts like pens, drinks, confectionary and so on.

Promotions. Why not create a festive related promotion to draw in new customers or reward loyal customers.

Get creative. As long as you have the right permissions etc, use Christmassy related images in your social media posts or adverts. Readers will be more drawn to read them.

Updates. Remember to include your festive opening hours in your social media posts and in your Newsletters.

CSR. At this time of plenty, don’t forget your CSR (corporate social responsibility). If you can afford to, why not make a festive donation to a local charity.

Staff. Finally, don’t forget your loyal and hard working team members. Say thank you with a lunch or meal out or another type of works do. Or reward them with a bonus or gift. Ask your accountant to advise you on the options.

I may as well be the first to say Happy Christmas to you!
