Whether you are planning your next newsletter or email campaign or writing your social media updates, getting the content right can be tricky but it is worth working on as more and more research is showing that content is king.
Customers want more and more information these days, so making you know what you want to say, how you want to say and to whom is so important. However, do remember to keep the customer in mind at all times e.g. just because you want to say something or use a certain media, is that actually what the customer wants to read or hear and at that time?
I am trying to get across here that there are two key things to remember
- the content itself
- and how you are going to distribute this content
Remember, like most things in Marketing, there are no magic answers or exact routes to market. Do your research first, then measure and then be prepared to change tact accordingly, and you won’t go far wrong.
