According to the Marketing Magazine in the Feb edition, marketing personnel “CMO’s are now expected to excel in areas that range well beyond the traditional discipline of marketing.”
I am wondering with strains on resource, budget and time, can departments really do it all or is outside help often needed? Can we really be jack of all trades?
So what can an outsourced marketing consultant or team bring to your business? They will not be biased or have pre-conceived ideas. They will say how it is, whilst having the businesses best interests at heart. They will tell customers what they want to hear and not just want the company wants to say. Finally, they will be a valuable extra pair of ears and eyes within the business as well as seeking out opportunities and leads through their own contacts and networking.
An outside marketing resource will and should, challenge businesses and ensure they get ROI and meet objectives.
