What is a BLOG?

Blogs, blogs, blogs.  It is all you here nowadays.  With marketing becoming more and more digitalised, blogging and social networking in general are big business.

Now that blogging has been around for a while, it has established itself as a proven, successful tool when it comes to marketing and promoting any small business.

So, what is a BLOG?  It is an easy, effective, low cost and innovative way to reach customers and potential customers.  The major benefits a BLOG can have on your business are:

  • it gives you the ability to Boast!
  • it gives you to chance to Leverage your other marketing activities and business efforts!
  • it gives you the chance to Organise your marketing messaging! and
  • it gives you a low risk method to Gain more sales and boost your profits!

Sounds to good to be true?  Well, it isn’t.

A taxi firm I heard about started using blogging and Twitter to raise its name amongst the town and to bring in new business.  The firm started tweeting and blogging local traffic reports.  The locals latched onto this concept and saw them as being one step ahead of the game and therefore the ideal company to get them from A to B the quickest.

For me personally, blogging has gained me two new customers to date.  The profit from these customers will give me a return of more than 75% on the investment I made.  You can’t say fairer than that can you!
